Dr. Carol Miao’s lab offers a variety of training opportunities from the level of undergraduate and graduate students to postdoctoral fellows and senior scientists. The lab training covers a broad range of biomedical research skills including technologies involved in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell culture, gene therapy, bioassays, immunology, and animal model studies. Our mission at Seattle Children’s Hospital and University of Washington is to provide hope, care and cures to help every patient live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible. We strongly support innovations and research activities, including identification and development of novel strategies, innovative technologies and novel methods for better treatment and cures.
Dr. Konkle can provide exposure to clinical evaluation and treatment of patients with hemophilia and design of clinical trials through the Washington Center for Bleeding Disorders. She can also provide exposure to clinical laboratory analysis of patients with hemophilia and inhibitors.
